NEC Birmingham offers free tickets for family attractions

The NEC in Birmingham has launched a prize draw offering hundreds of free tickets to major family attractions to help families navigate the end of the summer holidays. The initiative follows research indicating that parents often reach a “breaking point” approximately 19 days into the school break due to the challenges of balancing work, childcare, and rising costs.

According to the NEC, parents spend an average of more than five hours per week searching for activities to keep children occupied. The giveaway includes access to several experiences, such as the Peppa Pig Space Adventure, the Tutankhamun: The Immersive Exhibition—which utilizes 360-degree projections and virtual reality—and the Gladiator Experience.

For those unable to secure tickets through the draw, the NEC Lakeside offers a free outdoor cinema and play area that remains open daily throughout the summer without the need for booking.
