Big Brother Naija housemate Neche voluntarily exits show

Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate Neche has voluntarily withdrawn from the reality competition. Neche, who was serving as the Head of House at the time of her departure, announced her decision to the other contestants following a live eviction show on August 16, 2026.

MultiChoice Nigeria stated that Neche’s exit was due to “pressing personal matters” that required her immediate attention. While Neche did not disclose specific reasons, her sudden departure has sparked discussion among housemates and viewers, with some contestants suggesting the exit was linked to mental health strain.

In other developments within the season, Abisola “Abi” Ayoola has emerged as the new Head of House for the fourth week after winning a series of challenges involving puzzles and image recreation. Her victory grants her immunity and the privilege of selecting housemates to share the Head of House loft.

The current season, themed “Show Ya Sef,” features a record-breaking grand prize of ₦160 million. Previous exits this season include Kamsy, who was evicted, as well as Martins and Mercedes.
