NECO Registrar receives traditional title in Niger State

Prof. Dantani Ibrahim Wushishi, the Registrar/Chief Executive of the National Examinations Council (NECO), has been honored with the traditional title of Maji Dadin Gidan Mangoro. The title was conferred in Minna, Niger State, during a ceremony marking the commissioning of the newly constructed palace for the Mai-Anguwan Gidan Mangoro.

The palace construction was completed as part of NECO’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. Wushishi stated that the project aims to strengthen the relationship between the Council and its host communities while contributing to grassroots development. He emphasized that the Council’s responsibilities extend beyond its primary mandate of examinations and educational quality assurance to include supporting community stability and traditional leadership.
