Necochea celebrates 145 years with festivals and cultural events
The city of Necochea is preparing to celebrate its 145th anniversary with a three-day festival held from October 10 to 12. The festivities, centered at Plaza Dardo Rocha, will include live music, fairs, and traditional ceremonies. Key events include a protocol act visiting local monuments, a civic parade, and the traditional cutting of the anniversary cake on Monday, October 12.
In conjunction with the city's anniversary month, the Necochea Fotoclub is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a collective exhibition titled ‘Infinitas Miradas’. The exhibition, featuring approximately 30 photographs of the city's landscapes and scenes, will open on October 2 at the Centro Cultural Necochea – Biblioteca Popular Andrés Ferreyra.
