Two men on a motorcycle entered the On City appliance store in downtown Necochea after 7 p.m. on 4 August. Using hammers, they shattered a display case and stole the cell phones on exhibit. The thieves fled on the motorcycle, riding against traffic on nearby streets. Police responded to a 911 call, began a robbery investigation, and are reviewing municipal surveillance footage to identify the perpetrators. The local prosecutor’s office and the First Police Section’s technical team are involved in the case.
