Necochea hosts community environmental and biodiversity events

The city of Necochea is hosting several community-driven environmental initiatives. On October 24, the Secretariat of Tourism and Productive Development, in collaboration with the Club de Observadores de Aves (COA) Necochea, will hold the second session of the “Conociendo las aves migratorias” cycle at Miguel Lillo Park. The event, part of the Aterriza Biocultural Festival, includes a tutorial on using binoculars followed by a guided walk to identify migratory bird species.

Additionally, the Necochea Cultural Center and Andrés Ferreyra Popular Library will host the sixth free plant and seedling distribution on October 21. This initiative involves students and staff from Colegio Danés Altamira, Hogar San Andrés, and the Centro de Formación Laboral N.º 403. The event aims to promote urban sustainability and community solidarity by providing residents with seasonal plants, trees, and shrubs produced throughout the academic year.
