Necochea Municipality opens lifeguard recruitment competition
The Municipality of Necochea has opened a competition to recruit lifeguards for the 2026/27 season. The call, formalized by a decree signed by Mayor Arturo Rojas and Government Secretary Jorge Martínez, targets individuals ranked within the first 150 positions of the Necochea Quequén Lifeguards Association (AGNQ) merit list.
Interested applicants must register at the Secretariat of Government by Thursday, October 22, at 12:00 PM. Required documentation includes an identity document, a lifeguard license, and a criminal record certificate. Selection will be based on the initial merit list score combined with results from upcoming evaluations.
The evaluation process begins on Saturday, October 24, at the Edgardo Hugo Yelpo Municipal Polideportivo with a theoretical exam on first aid and equipment management. Candidates who pass will proceed to a physical pedestrian evaluation and an aquatic rescue test, including swimming and towing, scheduled for Sunday, October 25, at the Praxis gymnasium swimming pool. Results are expected to be published on Monday, October 26.
