Nectarines offer versatile culinary uses for the autumn season

Nectarines serve as a versatile ingredient for autumn cooking, suitable for both sweet desserts and savory snacks. These fruits, which belong to the rose family, are rich in Vitamin C and Vitamin A, supporting immune function and eye health.

Lina Skersytė, head of public relations at Lidl Lietuva, notes that nectarines are highly adaptable in the kitchen, similar to apples, and can be used to diversify traditional recipes. To maintain freshness, it is recommended to store them in the refrigerator's fruit section, though unripe fruit should be kept at room temperature until softened.
