Nedbank Golf Challenge announces upgrades and star lineup

The 2026 Nedbank Golf Challenge is set to feature significant upgrades and a high-profile international field at Sun City’s Gary Player Country Club. A R50 million investment is being directed toward renovating the course, which includes installing advanced drainage systems, new tee boxes, and updated facilities to meet international standards.

The tournament, often referred to as ‘Africa’s Major’, offers a $6 million prize purse. Confirmed participants include Justin Rose, Bryson DeChambeau, defending champion Kristoffer Reitan, Marco Penge, and South African golfer Casey Jarvis.

Tickets for the event, scheduled from December 3 to 6, are currently on sale. General admission prices range from R250 to R500 per day, with adult tickets including complimentary entry for up to two children under the age of 18.
