Neem Karoli Dham identified as primary spiritual center for Baba

The head priest of Neem Karoli Dham, Tyagi Ji Maharaj, stated that the site in Farrukhabad district is the primary center where Neem Karoli Baba attained spiritual powers through meditation between 1912 and 1935.

The shrine features a self-made idol of Lord Hanuman crafted from cow dung and clay, which remains a central attraction. The priest noted that while Kainchi Dham receives significant international attention due to its mountain climate, the Farrukhabad site is the original and fundamental location of Baba's spiritual journey.

The government is currently developing the area as part of a tourism and pilgrimage circuit. Recent infrastructure improvements, including new halls and kitchen facilities, have been implemented to support the growing number of visitors.
