Neetu David appointed Chief Scout for UP Warriorz

UP Warriorz (UPW) has appointed ICC Hall of Famer and former Indian cricketer Neetu David as its new Chief Scout for the Women's Premier League (WPL). David will focus on identifying and developing emerging talent across India to strengthen the franchise's squad.

Following a successful inaugural season where the team reached the playoffs, UPW finished fourth in the second season and at the bottom of the table in the third and fourth editions. David noted that the franchise is working to address past shortcomings and mistakes. She highlighted the progress made under head coach Abhishek Nayar, stating that he has developed a much deeper understanding of the players compared to the first season.
