The couple, who married on January 22, 1980, were known as one of Hindi cinema’s most beloved pairings. Their relationship began on the set of the film ‘Zahrila Insaan’ in 1974. Despite initial familial opposition and strict supervision during their early dating years, the pair built a lasting life together and had two children, Ranbir Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni.

Rishi Kapoor passed away on April 30, 2020, following a battle with cancer.
