Negan confirmed as playable character in The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival

TRAILMARK Games and AMC Global Media have announced that Negan, the former leader of the Saviors, will be a playable character in the upcoming video game ‘The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival’. The announcement was made during the Future Games Show at Gamescom 2026.

Moving away from traditional survival horror, the title is a retro pixel-art beat ‘em up inspired by the ‘All-Out War’ storyline from the AMC television series. Players can control various iconic characters, including Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon, Michonne, and Negan, each featuring unique movesets and combat styles. Negan will utilize his signature barbed-wire baseball bat, Lucille, to fight both human enemies and hordes of Walkers.

The game is scheduled for release on September 18 across multiple platforms, including PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. Pre-orders are currently available.
