Negeri Sembilan offers RM50,000 incentive for NS Antlers STL 2026 title

Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Ismail Lasim has announced a RM50,000 cash incentive for the Negeri Sembilan Antlers sepak takraw team should they secure the overall championship in the 2026 Sepak Takraw League (STL).

As part of the incentive structure, winners of each circuit will receive RM20,000, while runners-up will receive RM15,000. The announcement was made during the team's launch at Seremban Prima, following the team's recent successes, including winning the 2026 STL Sumbangsih Cup and three consecutive STL Champions Cup titles from 2023 to 2025.

Additionally, the state is set to host the fifth circuit Grand Prix of the STL from December 9 to 13 at the Arena Karisma Matrix. The Menteri Besar noted that the establishment of a sepak takraw academy in the state remains under consideration depending on the team's continued performance and the sport's popularity.
