Negeri Sembilan ruler and ministers attend Kuala Pilah unity prayer event
On 30 July, a religious gathering called Kuala Pilah Bermunajat was held at Masjid Jamek Yamtuan Raden in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. The ceremony was attended by Yang di‑Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan Tuanku Muhriz ibni Almarhum Tuanku Munawir, his consort Tuanku Aishah Rohani, Senator Dr Zulkifli Hasan (Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department for Religious Affairs) and Senator Puan Marhamah Rosli (Deputy Minister). Around 500 worshippers and 40 Tahfiz students participated.
The programme began with Maghrib prayer, followed by recitation of Yasin, tahlil, and collective supplications, then continued with Isyak prayer and a communal meal. Dr Zulkifli Hasan said, “We pray that our country, especially Negeri Sembilan, be granted blessings, mercy, security and peace.” The event aimed to promote messages of peace, love and communal harmony, and announced a follow‑up Selawat programme for the next day.
Organisers described the gathering as a platform to unite people through Islamic values of security, compassion and togetherness, encouraging continued participation in future spiritual activities.
