Negrita concert in Alba Fucens sold out, proceeds to fund Madagascar health dispensary

All tickets for the Negrita concert at the Roman amphitheatre in Alba Fucens, Italy, were sold out for the Festiv’Alba event on 31 July. The band, featuring Paolo “Pau” Bruni, Enrico “Drigo” Salvi, Cesare “Mac” Petricich and supporting musicians, opened a series of ten major events running through early August.

Proceeds from the concert will be directed to the Valeria Mella health dispensary in Bekopaka, Madagascar. The dispensary, named in memory of Valeria Mella – a long‑time collaborator of Harmonia Novissima and the Alba Fucens festival – is awaiting formal recognition by the Malagasy Ministry of Health after recent work was deemed suitable. The project, launched in 2021, aims to equip the centre with essential medical equipment and become a state‑run facility to better serve the local population.
