Neha Thakur becomes Himachal Pradesh's first female truck driver

Neha Thakur, a resident of Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, has become the state’s first female truck driver after choosing to abandon her professional training as an air hostess.

Inspired by her father, who was also a truck driver, Thakur pursued her childhood passion for heavy vehicles. Despite completing air hostess training in Chandigarh, she decided to follow her interest in driving. She began her career in 2022 with her father's support. Thakur now shares her experiences and daily life on social media, documenting her journeys on the highway regardless of weather conditions.
