Nei Suoni Dei Luoghi festival holds events in Udine and Mariano del Friuli

The 28th edition of the international music and territories festival, Nei Suoni Dei Luoghi, features several upcoming performances in the Friuli region.

In Udine, the event titled ‘Le mie donne’ will take place at the Auditorium Paderno. This performance integrates music, dance, and spoken word to tell the stories of seven extraordinary women, including scientists, artists, and activists. The musical component is provided by the Urban Cluster ensemble, featuring Francesco Esposito, Rino Trasi, Emanuela Ferrari, and Luca Casiraghi, alongside artistic director Valentina Danelon. The production includes choreography by Denis Rigo and acting by Sara Santucci.

In Mariano del Friuli, a cross-border ensemble will perform at the Church of San Gottardo. This concert, part of the Insieme / Skupaj cycle, showcases emerging talents from Italy and Slovenia. The ensemble includes Luka Vovk, Virginia Freschi, Marianna Bouzhar Tolazzi, and Mario Roveda, accompanied by Guglielmo Pellarin of the Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia and Valentina Danelon. The program features works by Mozart, York Bowen, and John Ireland.
