neil tool introduced to simplify Clojure project management

A new Clojure project management tool named ‘neil’ has been introduced to simplify the setup of deps.edn projects. Designed to assist both beginners and experienced users, the tool provides a starting point for project layouts and allows for the incremental addition of functionality, such as library management.

‘neil’ is available via multiple installation methods, including Homebrew, Scoop, Nix, and the Clojure JVM. For faster startup times, it can run using Babashka. The tool aims to streamline the process of creating new projects and managing dependencies within the Clojure ecosystem.
