Violent crimes and accidents reported across Bolivia, Argentina, and Colombia

Various violent incidents and accidents have been reported across South America. In San Julián, Bolivia, a young man was found dead near a cemetery with deep wounds caused by a machete; authorities suspect a robbery involving a motorcycle.

In Argentina, a crop-dusting pilot was hospitalized with multiple fractures and injuries after his Piper PA-25-235 Pawnee aircraft crashed in a rural area of Gualeguaychú, Entre Ríos. Separately, in Ushuaia, a 47-year-old man was found unconscious with a head injury inside a residence; a house occupant was detained following a reported dispute.

Colombia has seen several attacks. In El Copey, Cesar, a business owner was killed and his partner seriously wounded during a shooting at a commercial establishment. In Neiva, a 42-year-old retired soldier, Diego Andrés Agudelo Pérez, was shot and killed during an attempted motorcycle robbery. Additionally, a shooting occurred near a church in Cali, where a woman’s vehicle was fired upon during a robbery.
