Nejmeh SC signs Ghanaian midfielder Salifu Moro
Nejmeh SC has confirmed the signing of Ghanaian defensive midfielder Salifu Moro from the Libyan Premier League club Al-Ta’awon. The transfer was completed on 16 August 2026.
Moro, a 27-year-old right-footed player standing 1.91m tall, joins the Beirut-based club for the 2026-27 season and is assigned the number 16 jersey. His career includes experience in Ghana, Ivory Coast, Egypt, and Libya.
Prior to joining Nejmeh, Moro played for Al-Ta’awon, having joined them in February 2026. His previous clubs include Egypt’s Ittihad Alex, as well as Ghanaian sides Bechem United and Medeama SC, and AFAD Djekanou in Ivory Coast. While his market value is estimated at €200,000, the specific transfer fee for the move to Lebanon has not been disclosed.
