Nelly Furtado announces 20th anniversary edition of Loose

Singer Nelly Furtado has announced a special 20th-anniversary edition of her iconic pop album, Loose. The release is scheduled for September 4 and will be available in a digital deluxe format as well as a limited 2LP colored vinyl edition, according to Universal Music Canada.

The expanded digital version will feature 28 songs, including 10 extra recordings. These additions consist of three unreleased tracks from the original Loose sessions, two unreleased recordings from 2024, four new versions of fan-favorite songs, and a “secret demo” that Furtado stated she has waited 20 years to release.

In addition to new material, Furtado is reinterpreting parts of the original repertoire, including the release of “Maneater (RITUAL VERSION)”. A limited number of 300 red and white vinyl copies will include a lithograph of the original album art personally signed by the artist.
