Legal rulings issued for sexual assault and robberies in Spain and Ecuador
Several legal rulings have been issued regarding violent crimes in Spain and Ecuador. In Castellón, Spain, a man has been sentenced to 17.5 years in prison for the continuous sexual assault of two 10-year-old twin sisters. The crimes occurred between September and November 2024 while the victims were living in the perpetrator's home. The court also ordered the man to pay 5,000 euros in compensation to each girl and imposed a long-term ban on contacting them or working with minors.
In Tarragona, Spain, a man received a sentence of four years and seven months for robbing a centenarian woman in her home with a knife. He was acquitted of a separate attempted robbery involving a person in a wheelchair.
