Nelson Deossa close to transfer from Real Betis to Vasco da Gama

Colombian midfielder Nelson Deossa, 26, is nearing a move from Spanish club Real Betis to Brazilian side Vasco da Gama. Negotiations have advanced to a stage where the player has agreed to personal terms and both clubs are working on the final details. The expected fee is around €10‑11 million, which would allow Betis to recoup its original €9.855 million outlay and realize a modest profit of €2‑3 million.
