Nelson Oliveira and Tiago Antunes top 20 in European time trial

The Portuguese national cycling team concluded its participation in the European Road Championships in Slovenia with notable performances in the individual time trials.

In the men's elite category, Nelson Oliveira finished in 15th place, while Tiago Antunes secured 20th. The event was won by Slovenia's Primož Roglič, who completed the 22-kilometer course in 28 minutes and 16 seconds.

In the women's elite category, Swiss rider Marlen Reusser claimed the European title with a time of 31 minutes and 30 seconds. Portuguese cyclist Beatriz Roxo finished in 23rd place. In the women's under-23 category, Nienke Vinke from the Netherlands took the title, while Raquel Dias and Emília Baía finished 24th and 26th, respectively.
