Nemanja Nentović praises Thomas Walkup’s character despite calling him one of EuroLeague’s dirtiest players

Serbian former guard Nemanja Nentović told the Kole Point Playbook Podcast that Olympiacos forward Thomas Walkup is “one of the dirtiest players in the EuroLeague,” recalling a heated personal duel during a Panathinaikos‑Olympiacos derby in which Nentović scored 20 points in the first half before Olympiacos placed Walkup on him to disrupt his rhythm. He added that, off the court, Walkup is “a very good kid,” always greeting people with a smile and showing an excellent character.

Nentović also explained that his main irritation on the court comes from defenders who play on the edge, use constant physical pressure and try to force opponents out of their game, while praising Walkup’s defensive intensity as the foundation of his career.
