Nemi and Vignola in Italy implement road and water‑network works, causing temporary traffic changes
In the town of Nemi, Via De Sanctis was reopened to traffic at 5 p.m. on 3 July after weeks of bridge‑installation works on the provincial road. The reopening was coordinated by local police, municipal technicians and the construction firm, and was attended by Mayor Alberto Bertucci, who said residents would be kept informed, and actress Benedetta Stocchi, who thanked the authorities.
Meanwhile, in Vignola, utility company Hera will renew roughly 200 metres of a 20‑centimetre‑diameter water pipe on Via Modenese. The work, scheduled from 6 to 26 July, will close that stretch of road, with detours for motorists and guaranteed access for emergency vehicles. Mayor Angelo Pasini urged drivers to use alternative routes and noted that the road will be reopened on Thursdays to allow the weekly market. Hera expects the upgrade to improve service continuity and reduce urgent repairs, at an estimated cost of €70 000.
