Nemocnice Jihlava launches region's only 3T MRI machine

Nemocnice Jihlava has acquired a new 3T magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machine, making it the only facility in the Vysočina Region to offer this level of diagnostic technology. The investment, which cost over 56 million CZK, was funded through European Union resources as part of the National Recovery Plan.

The new 8-ton device will complement the hospital's existing 1.5 Tesla MRI machine. The 3T technology provides significantly more detailed imaging of human body structures, allowing physicians to achieve higher precision in diagnosing conditions and planning patient treatments. Doctors will be able to select the specific technology that best meets the individual needs of each patient.
