Nenê leads group to negotiate purchase of Botafogo-PB SAF

Midfielder Nenê, 45, is leading a group of investors in negotiations to acquire the Football Corporation (SAF) of Botafogo-PB. Initial discussions have taken place with the current owner, Fillipe Félix, who has expressed intent to sell his stake.

While the deal is in its early stages and specific values have not been established, the project envisions Nenê transitioning from the pitch to a prominent administrative role in managing the club's football operations. This potential move could coincide with his retirement from professional play.

Investors are reportedly attracted to the club's financial situation, noting that Botafogo-PB's debt is relatively low compared to other Brazilian clubs. Nenê, who joined the team in January and helped secure the Campeonato Paraibano title, has developed a strong connection to the city of João Pessoa.
