Nenad Brnović linked to Budućnost head coach role

Nenad Brnović is reportedly set to become the new head coach of Budućnost, Montenegro’s most successful football club. Currently leading the coaching staff at Bokelj, Brnović has been offered the position, pending a mutual termination of his contract with the Kotor-based club.

The move follows a period of instability for Budućnost, which has seen multiple coaching changes since June of last year. The club is currently struggling in the Meridianbet 1. CFL, sitting in penultimate position with only five points from 18 possible. The decision comes after the dismissal of Srđan Radonjić and his staff following a loss to Otrant in Ulcinj.

Internal management issues have also been highlighted, as the club faces criticism over its leadership and the financial burden of paying out contracts for dismissed staff, including assistants Petar Grbić, Vladan Adžić, Marko Janjević, goalkeeper coach Veljko Bajković, and conditioning coach Ivan Božović.
