Nenad Rašković hospitalized after alleged police assault in Zubin Potok

Nenad Rašković, a resident of Dren in the Zubin Potok municipality, was hospitalized at KBC Kosovska Mitrovica following an alleged physical assault by Kosovo police officers.

Rašković claims that three officers entered his home, assaulted him on his bed, and demanded he hand over a rifle. He further alleges that he was handcuffed, taken to a nearby forest, tied to a tree, and beaten with a water hose. Medical professionals report that Rašković sustained injuries to his head, back, and chest, and is currently in intensive care in stable condition.

The Kosovo Police Inspectorate (PIK) has launched a priority investigation into the matter and has collected medical documentation and statements from the victim. While the Kosovo police stated they have no information regarding the alleged assault, the Serbian political entity Srpska Lista has condemned the incident, calling it 'institutional terror' and urging international bodies like KFOR and EULEX to intervene.
