Nenhum de Nós celebrates 40 years of rock career

The Brazilian rock band Nenhum de Nós is celebrating 40 years since its debut in Porto Alegre on October 5, 1986. Founded by Thedy Corrêa, Carlos Stein, and Sady Homrich, the group has released 17 albums and performed over 2,500 shows throughout its career.

The band is a central figure in the 'rock gaúcho' movement, known for urban music classics such as ‘Camila, Camila’, ‘O Astronauta de Mármore’, ‘Você Vai Lembrar de Mim’, and ‘Amanhã ou Depois’. Their international reach has included tours in Japan and China.

Over the decades, the lineup has evolved. Guitarist Veco Marques joined in 1989, and keyboardist João Vicenti joined in 1996, forming a notable quintet. Following Vicenti’s death in 2024, the band returned to a quartet format. The group has scheduled performances across several Brazilian cities this year, including Porto Alegre and Rio de Janeiro.
