Neo Berlin 2087 set for 2028 release

Elysium Game Studio and publisher ByteRockers’ Games have announced that the cyberpunk action RPG, ‘Neo Berlin 2087’, is scheduled for release in 2028. The game will be available on PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Set in a futuristic version of Berlin in the year 2087, the story follows Nolan, a detective for the Neo Berlin Police Department. Following the murder of the police chief, Nolan is tasked with finding and protecting the chief’s daughter, Natalie, while uncovering a larger conspiracy. The game’s setting features a stark social divide where the wealthy live behind fortified walls with advanced technology, while the impoverished struggle in dangerous, machine-filled wastelands.

Gameplay mechanics include a mix of investigation, stealth, and combat, allowing players to switch between first-person and third-person perspectives. A central feature is the detective ability to relive the final moments and memories of victims to reconstruct crime scenes and gather clues. The narrative is intended to be choice-driven, with player decisions influencing character relationships and the story's progression.
