Neoenergia conducts operations and addresses service complaints in Brazil

Neoenergia is managing multiple service and infrastructure issues across the state of Bahia. In Cabrobó, local merchants and residents have reported frequent power fluctuations and outages, particularly near the Araujão Sports Gymnasium. These instabilities, linked to a transformer on Rua Higino Pires, have caused financial losses for businesses. Neoenergia has acknowledged the reports and stated that a technical team will be dispatched to investigate the situation.

Simultaneously, Neoenergia Coelba has launched ‘Operação Gatonet’ to remove irregular telephony and internet cables from utility poles. The operation spans Salvador, the Metropolitan Region, and 22 other municipalities, including Camaçari, Ilhéus, and Barreiras. The initiative aims to reorganize wiring to reduce fire risks, prevent power interruptions, and mitigate visual pollution caused by unauthorized providers. The company advised consumers to use its portal to verify if their service providers are technically approved and regularized.
