Neom SC defeats Shaab Hadramout in Gulf Club Champions League opener

Neom SC secured a 4-0 victory against Yemen's Shaab Hadramout in their opening Group A match of the 2026 Gulf Club Champions League. The match took place on Tuesday at the National Stadium in Tabuk.

Neom SC dominated the first half, capitalizing on individual errors from the Shaab Hadramout defense to score all four goals before the interval. Following tactical adjustments by coach Samer Fadl, Shaab Hadramout showed improved cohesion and balance in the second half, though they were unable to reduce the deficit.

Shaab Hadramout, which recently bolstered its squad with signings including goalkeeper Abdullah Al-Saadi and foreign players such as Mauritanian defender Bashir Al-Eid, will look to recover in their next fixture. They are scheduled to face Qatar's Al-Duhail on October 28.
