Neon Genesis Evangelion to Stream on Criterion Channel with Original English Dub

The classic sci‑fi anime Neon Genesis Evangelion, its sequel film The End of Evangelion and the compilation movie Death & Rebirth will become available on the Criterion Channel streaming service on 1 September. The launch will feature the original English dub produced by ADV Films, which has never been streamed before, alongside the series’ original Japanese audio. This marks the first time the full 26‑episode TV series and its related movies are offered on the arthouse platform, joining other titles such as Ghost in the Shell and K‑ON!.

The addition is timed with the franchise’s 30‑year anniversary and is expected to attract long‑time fans seeking the classic dub, as well as new viewers discovering the series through the curated streaming catalogue.
