Neonatology and childcare initiatives launched in Italy

The XXXII National Congress of the Italian Society of Neonatology (SIN) opened at the Petruzzelli Theatre in Bari, running through October 30. Presided over by Professor Massimo Agosti, the congress brings together healthcare professionals, academics, and institutions to discuss neurological development, innovative care, and the importance of family involvement, particularly for fragile newborns.

In Pistoia, the Spazio Piccolissimi at AreaBambini Rossa has announced a series of workshops and meetings for November titled ‘Prendersi a cuore… L’arte della cura condivisa’. Organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Pistoia, Asl Toscana Centro, and Cooperativa Arca, the program includes sessions led by midwives and experts to support parents through the early stages of child-rearing and creative development for young children.
