Neopolis development in Hyderabad expands residential capacity

The Neopolis precinct in Kokapet, located on the western edge of Hyderabad, is transitioning into a high-density urban district. A project summary reviewed by the Telangana Tribunal identifies 14 residential developments spanning 123.44 acres, which will include a total of 11,485 apartments.

Based on estimates of three to four occupants per household, these residential projects alone could accommodate between 34,000 and 46,000 residents. To support the wider 530-acre master plan, government planning has outlined infrastructure requirements including a planned bulk water capacity of 226 MLD, a sewage treatment capacity of 45 MLD, and road widths of 36 m and 45 m.

In the same region, developers such as Sobha are offering premium residential projects in Kokapet, highlighting the area's connectivity to the Financial District, Gachibowli, and HITEC City.
