Neowiz launches fifth-anniversary update for Cats & Soup

Neowiz has launched a major update for its mobile idle game, ‘Cats & Soup’, to celebrate its fifth anniversary. The update, themed around the ‘Star Cat Festival’, introduces the ‘Grow the Star Tree’ event, where players select one of three cats—Kiki, Titi, or Popo—to nurture a star tree seed into a Cosmic Star Tree.

In response to player feedback, the update includes new content such as the ‘Baby Kitty Play Facility’, which allows players to watch up to four kittens playing together, as well as new cooking and resting facilities. The update also features user-generated content, including decoration items from a fan art contest and in-game appearances of two real-life cats selected from a previous community event.

Additional features include a new limited-time cat named ‘Starbell’, available through September 30, and various login rewards, attendance events, and adjusted missions for returning players.
