Nepal Federal Parliament launches Digital Parliament project

The Federal Parliament Secretariat has launched the Digital Parliament project to modernize parliamentary activities and increase transparency. The initiative aims to make records, proceedings, and information more accessible and systematic through the use of technology.

The platform, which is currently in a trial phase, includes a web portal and a mobile application. It provides real-time data such as the total number of Members of Parliament, average attendance rates, and details regarding current meetings, committees, and lawmakers' presentations.

During this testing period, the Secretariat has invited public feedback to identify errors and areas for improvement. The project was formally introduced at a program in Singha Durbar, with Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal and National Assembly Chairperson Narayan Prasad Dahal scheduled to inaugurate the platform.
