Nepal floods: Wife of missing Malaysian firefighter seeks aid mission

Hani Othman, the wife of missing Malaysian firefighter Mohd Fakhrul Munir Mohd Isa, is seeking approval from the Nepalese government to enter disaster zones to distribute humanitarian aid.

Mohd Fakhrul, a Senior Fire Officer with the Firefighting Air Special Force (PASKUB), is among 55 Malaysians reported missing following floods and landslides in Rasuwa, Nepal. Hani has organized the collection of 200 relief kits containing essential items such as food, hygiene products, and solar power banks to assist local victims and search for her husband.

On their 10th wedding anniversary, Hani expressed her distress regarding her husband's disappearance, noting that they had many future plans together, including climbing Mount Everest, which remained his unfulfilled dream.
