Nepal-Tibet border floods kill 600 as Syrian Democratic Forces dissolve
A major natural disaster has struck the Nepal-Tibet border region. A glacier collapse triggered severe flooding and landslides in the Rasuwa area, resulting in over 600 deaths and leaving approximately 2,000 people missing. Search and rescue operations are ongoing but are being hindered by difficult terrain and transportation challenges.
In Syria, a significant political and military shift has occurred. Mazlum Abdi, commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDG), announced the dissolution of the SDG following discussions with Ahmed Sharaa, the leader of the interim administration in Damascus. The group is set to be fully integrated into the Syrian army, marking a major change in the country's security structure.
