Nepali Congress leaders urge internal dispute resolution through dialogue

Leaders of the Nepali Congress are calling for internal party disputes to be resolved through political dialogue at the party headquarters in Sanepa rather than through the court system.

General Secretary Pradip Paudel warned that the country could face a major political crisis if the party fails to remain united during a challenging period. He urged dissatisfied leaders and supporters to engage in sincere discussions and acknowledged a collective responsibility for past shortcomings. Paudel also emphasized the importance of holding the upcoming 15th general convention on schedule.

Vice President Bishwa Prakash Sharma echoed these sentiments, stating that while the constitution and law provide the right to pursue legal action, such paths do not offer permanent solutions. Sharma noted that the upcoming convention in Ashoj offers an open opportunity for leadership competition, clarifying that the current leadership is not permanent for five years.
