Nerea Garmendia shares experience of being caught in a capea

Spanish actress Nerea Garmendia recently shared an anecdote on Instagram regarding an incident in Candeleda, Ávila, where she became trapped in a street during a 'capea' (a type of bullfighting event). Garmendia described the experience as surreal, noting that she was nearly caught by a bull while crowds were dancing nearby.

Following the incident, the actress expressed her opposition to bullfighting and animal cruelty, stating, “I am anti-bullfighting and obviously I am not in favor of these types of ‘celebrations’.”

In addition to the anecdote, the report touches upon Garmendia’s personal life, noting her pregnancy announcement in November 2024 with her partner, Luis Díaz Núñez, and her long-standing career in Spanish television and film.
