NERSANT rolls out financing incentives and entrepreneurship talks in Portugal's Lezíria do Tejo

The Associação Empresarial da Região de Santarém (NERSANT), together with the municipalities of Santarém and Benavente, organised two informational sessions on the Territorial Base Incentive System for the Lezíria do Tejo region. The meetings, held on 13 July in Santarém and 14 July in Benavente, explained eligibility, sectors, and grant levels, which can cover 15 000 € to 300 000 € of investment and provide up to 40 % of costs as non‑repayable support for micro‑ and small‑business projects in municipalities such as Almeirim, Benavente, Cartaxo and others.

In a related event on 29 June at Tomar’s Complexo Cultural da Levada, NERSANT partnered with the Tomar municipality to host a round‑table titled “Conversas Empreendedoras – empreender com recursos endógenos” under the Tomar Criativa project. Entrepreneurs Maria Ramos of Margaval Vinhos and Rita Vidal of Quinta Casal das Freiras shared experiences on innovation, resilience, workforce shortages, diversification, and the rising role of enotourism, branding and social‑media promotion in sustaining local wine‑related businesses.
