Nesa Scent death sparks investigation into delayed reporting by friends

The death of 13-year-old perfume content creator Nesa Scent, also known as Neill Angkasa Satyanegara, has drawn significant attention following reports that he drowned in the Cisadane River.

According to his mother, Dewi Satyanegara, there are allegations that several of the boy's friends may have attempted to cover up the incident. CCTV footage reportedly showed Nesa with seven companions, but the group was seen returning without him. While one child eventually admitted that Nesa had drowned around 3:30 PM, the family was not notified of the incident until approximately 5:00 PM.

On the day of the tragedy, Nesa had left his home after being invited by a friend to go to a mosque. His mother expressed concern after he failed to return home by the afternoon, leading to the investigation of his whereabouts and the subsequent discovery of the circumstances surrounding his death.
