Nesebar named among top 20 European longevity destinations

A new ranking by CV Villas has identified the top 20 European destinations conducive to longevity. The list highlights locations where lifestyle factors such as walking accessibility, pace of life, and social environments contribute to long life expectancy.

Criteria for the ranking included opportunities for walking, weekly working hours, the availability of vegan menus, the ratio of wineries to the population, and social infrastructure like cafes and churches. Malta emerged as the most represented country with four entries, including Valletta, which secured the top position due to its pedestrian-friendly conditions and social venues.

Other notable destinations include Paxos in Greece, Saint-Tropez in France, and Nesebar in Bulgaria. The agency suggests these locations serve as models for a healthy lifestyle that many modern individuals lack in their daily routines.
