Neshka Robeva denies rumors of vice presidential candidacy

Legendary rhythmic gymnastics coach Neshka Robeva has categorically denied rumors that she will run for vice president. The clarification follows online reports and discussions on Bulgarian National Television suggesting she might join a presidential ticket alongside Petar Volgin.

Robeva stated that she has not received any such proposal from the Vazrazhdane party. While she noted that various people and organizations have approached her with political candidacy offers over the years, she has consistently declined them. She explained her decision by stating she does not wish to “divide the nation again.”

In her public statement, Robeva also expressed views on broader geopolitical issues, including criticisms of the European Union and Western nations, opposition to Bulgaria joining military coalitions, and support for Russia and Vladimir Putin.
