Neslihan Ocakçı transitions from secretary to auto mechanic

Neslihan Ocakçı, a 40-year-old resident of Zonguldak, has transitioned from a secretary to a professional auto mechanic. Her interest in vehicle repair began at age 18 when she discovered a passion for fixing her own car.

After starting as a secretary at her husband's automotive workshop, Ocakçı pursued formal training with the encouragement of her employer. She has since earned a mastership certificate and has been working in vehicle maintenance and repair for 16 years. Despite facing initial prejudices and skepticism from customers, she has established herself in the industry. Ocakçı encourages other women to pursue careers in the automotive sector, stating that they should be courageous and take the first step toward their goals.
