Nestlé and Mondelēz highlight long-term operations in Venezuela

Nestlé Venezuela is celebrating the 65th anniversary of its El Tocuyo factory in Lara state. Since beginning operations in 1961, the plant has become a key industrial and social reference for the region, producing major brands such as MAGGI, NESTUM, CERELAC, NESTEA, NESCAFÉ, and RICA CHICHA.

The facility supports a broad value chain that includes agricultural communities in Lara and neighboring states through technical assistance and capacity-building programs to improve productivity and quality.

Separately, Mondelēz Venezuela has highlighted its long-standing presence in the country, noting over 80 years of history. The company reported that its volunteers contributed more than 260 hours of service this year to regional and national causes. This included supporting the Dividendo Voluntario para la Comunidad (DVC) in logistics, reception, and distribution of supplies for affected communities following events on June 24.
